Chemotherapy
treatment is emotionally and physically
draining, particularly for young children,
who often have to endure long hospital
stays and extended periods at home
away from school and friends. To give
these kids something to look forward
to, Circle of Care has joined forces
with two creative teams based in Fairfield
County to offer Art from the Heart.
Volunteers work with the family to
create a design that will transform
a child's bedroom at home into a personal
wonderland. We offer room makeovers
by lottery four times a year to children
ages 4 to 18 currently undergoing
treatment.

could not have come at a
better time. We were in
the middle of redoing the
room when our daughter became
ill, so we had to put everything
on hold. Now
she can look forward to
a beautiful new bedroom."
